Photographer and cinematographer based in Manchester, working across commercial, editorial and documentary projects throughout the UK and internationally.

Originally from Manchester, I spent ten years living in London before finding my way back north.

My approach is shaped by a curiosity for people, places and the details that might otherwise go unnoticed. I’m interested in creating images that have something to say, whether through carefully considered light and composition or a fleeting, unplanned moment. Less a record of what happened, more a memory of how it felt.

I’ve always been drawn to cameras with character. Hasselblads, Leicas, a Rolleiflex and an old wind-up Bolex. Some are older than I am, and there’s something fascinating about looking through a viewfinder that someone else used decades ago to see an entirely different world. I’m equally interested in modern technology and what it makes possible, choosing the right tools and approach for each project.

My work moves between commercial productions and personal documentary projects. Different disciplines, but the same attention to detail, creative curiosity and commitment to the work. I enjoy the collaborative process, exchanging ideas, solving problems and making something we’re genuinely proud of.

Photography has taken me to places I might never otherwise have visited, introduced me to people I might never have met, and taught me to look a little closer. That’s what keeps me coming back to it.
